So much fun at our Play Day with Piper Preschool!

Today BOOKS AND COOKIES paired with Piper Preschool, Urbansitter , smallSHOP crafts, and Jennifer Paskow Music, for an AMAZING Play Day! We were so thrilled with the turnout of smiling friends ready to delight in the day with us, and enjoy all of what Piper Preschool has to offer.

After checking in with BOOKS AND COOKIES staff at the welcome gate, families arrived into Piper's beautiful courtyard and playgound. You can see in the picture (above) what a gorgeous day it was, and Piper's sweet garden trimmings truly made it a picturesque escape. We couldn't beleive we had walked in right off Arizona Ave!

We spent the first 20 minutes greeting new arrivals as families browsed our tax-free book sales tables, played with our friends from Urbansitter joined smallSHOP at the kids craft tables, and began dipping little toes into the splash stream. Yes, that is a little stream running through the playground. It's practically a babbling brooke. How charming is that?! Kids of all ages came together to explore the pebbles and rocks and cool off their fingers and toes in the water.

The event kicked off with an interactive Kids Concert with Jennifer Paskow. Always such fun! Music with Jennifer (Fridays @10:30) is one of the very favorites of our Enrichment Center activities. Her original and sing-a-long songs always have the group engaged in musical improvisation and playfulness. Truly a wonderful activity, and a perfect lead-in to Movers and Shakers Story Time! After a short break for more smallSHOP crafting and play time in Piper's playground, e had a blast with the classic BOOKS AND COOKIES Story Time and Sing-A-Long plus interactive Instrument Play and Parachute Play.
