Join our Play Day at A Magic Forest!

Books and Cookies is SO excited to partner with A Magic Forest in Culver City to bring you a magical PLAY DAY!


We invite you to come check out A Magic Forest, a Waldorf-inspired play space, toy store and cafe for children, parents, and caregivers. They’ve created an enchanted, yet home-like environment for children to learn and socialize through imaginative play with toys made from natural materials. Parents and caregivers are invited to engage with their children in the play area, or supervise from comfy sofas while relaxing with a cup of coffee. Not bad huh?


On Saturday, July 26th, Books and Cookies is bringing our Music and Story Time programming to the Magic Forest space. Here are the highlights:


11AM Kids Concert with Sandra Sandia

12PM Story Time

Face Painting

Visits from a REAL Fairy and Princesses

Child engagement/supervision by UrbanSitter


Come jam at a Kid’s Concert and Drum Circle with Sandra Sandia at 11am and get your little one's bodies moving with Movers and Shakers Story Time, a unique Books and Cookies literacy adventure, at 12pm! In between, explore and play supervised by our friends from UrbanSitter in A Magic Forest’s enchanting play areas, browse our tax-free book sales area, and Face Paint with our fairy friends from Real Princess Parties! A Magic Forest’s café will be open for business, so come ready to snack! PLUS enjoy 10% off all A Magic Forest toy sales!


Note:  A Magic Forest's carpeted play area is a shoe-free zone. Kids with clean feet may go barefoot, but adults, please bring socks! They do sell organic cotton socks if you need a pair.
