A New Year and New Activities Schedule!

As a reminder, Books and Cookies will be closed tomorrow 1/1, but we will see you Friday for our full schedule of activities and Saturday for our Concert Series with MY MUSICAL TREE!

We are happy to announce a few updates and additions to Books and Cookies activities schedule! Please see below and download the attached activities schedule starting January 2nd!

NEW ACTIVITIES:

Jump for Joy Dance & Play - Monday at 11:30am

35 minutes / 1 year - 4 years / $10 at the door Dance, wiggle, jump and play! Get those little bodies grooving with this fun-filled, creative movement, dance activity!

Movers & Shakers Story Time Play Date - Wednesday at 4:00pm

50 minutes / All Ages / $10 at the door Enjoy our Classic Story Time activity in the Outdoor Classroom! We’ll tell stories and have a sing-a-long outside, then engage in a special, interactive Movers and Shakers playtime! Even when the activity’s done, you can stay and play!

Story Time Crafty Kids Play Date – Thursday at 4:00pm

50 minutes / All Ages / $10 at the door

Enjoy our Classic Story Time activity in the Outdoor Classroom! We’ll tell stories and have a sing-a-long outdoors, then engage in a special, interactive crafty playtime! Even when the activity’s done, you can stay and play!

Crafty Kids Art Exploration - Friday at 11:30am

45minutes / 1year+ / $10 at the door Strap on a smock and come along for this fun arts & crafts activity! Explore different stations of painting, markers, glue, glitter and more crafty activities without the clean up! This is an exciting opportunity for creative, physical and sensory development for your little ones!

Happy Kid Yoga For Toddlers - Tuesday at 11:30am

45 minutes / 1 year – 5 years / $18 at the door Balance like a tree, roar like a lion and stretch like a dolphin in this fun-filled yoga class where children are introduced to the concepts of yoga in a creative and playful way. A certified yoga instructor will teach your child breathing and relaxation techniques as well as age appropriate poses and games

Wiggle Worm Fitness – Thursday at 11:30am

35 minutes / 1 year - 4 years / $10 at the door Jump, wiggle, tumble and play! Get those little bodies moving with this fun-filled, action packed physical fitness activity!

Saturday Morning Concert Series – Saturday at 10:00am

45 min. / All Ages / $10 at the door

Every Saturday, Books and Cookies invite local children’s musicians and music teachers to play a Kids Concert! Concert sets last about 30 minutes, and are lively, interactive, and fun. The performance takes place in the outdoor Learn and Play area, and afterwards you’ll enjoy 15 minutes of Open Play! This month, we have MY MUSICAL TREE, MISTA COOKIE JAR and TEACHER ANGELA. Please remember to arrive at least 10 minutes early for ALL activities to ensure there is space. All activities are drop-in on a first-come first-serve basis for the first 12 families and require an adult in attendance.

All activities packages purchased at the previous location are valid until January 1st OR 4 months after their expiration date (which ever comes first). Please call or stop by with any questions
